This is one of my go to dessert recipes when I am short on time. It takes no time to whip up. You can also use this as a base to make other flavors. Some ideas include choc-mint, choc-orange, coffee, mango………… There really is no end to the flavors you can come up with.

organic gelatin powder

I use Changing Habits Gelatin as I trust the source, it’s organic and it has never let me down. I used to struggle with gelatin a lot. The trick is to mix the desired amount of gelatin with double the amount of filtered water and put aside to use. No sprinkling over water and creating a mess with undissolved grains. Ingredients
  • 1 can Full fat coconut cream I use Ayam
  • 1 teaspoon Organic vanilla bean powder or equivalent vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp Organic grassfed beef gelatin I use Changing habits
  • Stevia to taste
  • 1-2 teaspoon sweetener of choice - maple syrup, honey, rice malt syrup

Vanilla Panna Cotta
Instructions
  1. Place organic gelatin in a small bowl/ramekin and add 2 tablespoons of filtered water.
  2. Stir well and leave to bloom for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add bloomed gelatin to a saucepan on low heat.
  4. Stir constantly until in liquid form.
  5. Add in coconut cream, vanilla, and sweetener and stir until well combined.
  6. You want it hot but not boiling.
  7. Pour into 3 or 4 ramekins and place in the fridge for 30 mins.
  8. Remove from fridge about 10 mins before eating for a softer, fluffier dessert.
