Kate's uses the 5 C's approach:
Step 1. Create an anti-inflammatory diet - reduce inflammation, increase energy, improve digestion, resolve brain fog, and lose weight, in a sustainable and joyful way. This is about eliminating foods that cause inflammation in your specific body, while also diversifying and adding colour wherever possible.
Step 2. Care for the gut - reduce inflammation, improve digestion and increase energy by healing the gut lining and balancing the microbiome. Regain your health from mouth to tail! Potential therapies include stomach acid support, digestive enzyme support, leaky gut protocols, microbiome support, antimicrobial therapy.
Step 3. Calm the nervous system - reduce anxiety, manage stress, improve sleep and retrain the cyclical thought patterns that are preventing you from achieving optimal health. Potential therapies include meditation, EFT, deep breathing, yoga, STOP process, brain retraining protocols, vagus nerve exercises.
Step 4. Clear toxins - reduce inflammation, increase energy, improve sleep, resolve brain fog, and lose weight by opening up the detox pathways and removing toxic substances like mould, pesticides and heavy metals. Potential therapies include liver & GI support, natural binders and detox protocols (eg Epsom salt baths, dry brushing, castor oil packs).

Although Kate has more practical experience with certain health conditions like autoimmunity, mould illness (CIRS), digestive dysfunction, and chronic fatigue syndromes, her systematic approach and five tiered clinical framework can be applied to EVERY client experiencing health issues, no matter what their ailment. Kate addresses the terrain in which the client's illness developed rather than trying to address the specific diagnosis. This framework is useful for everybody, however the individual protocols used within the framework are very much bespoke.
