Meika loves pomegranate kefir so I thought I’d try my luck and see if she would eat pomegranate gummies and it’s a yes! Probiotic goodness and gut loving gelatin in one! You can get beautiful gelatin from Changing habits. There’s a special on a twin pack at the moment or you can just stick to a single pack. We go through heaps of it with our bulletproofs and gummies.

First you’ll need to make the kefir, so plan a few days ahead.

For one litre of kefir I use:

1/2 cup of Kultured Wellness coconut water kefir

500ml Organic coconut water

200ml Organic pomegranate juice

Leave this to ferment in a 1 litre glass bottle for 48hrs.

  • 3 Tablespoons Changing Habits gelatin Mix with 5 Tbsp of filtered water and put aside
  • 1 cup Pomegranate kefir
  • 1 lime juiced
  • Stevia to taste if desired
Cook Time 10 minutes
Passive Time 30 minutes to set

  • 3 Tablespoons Changing Habits gelatin Mix with 5 Tbsp of filtered water and put aside
  • 1 cup Pomegranate kefir
  • 1 lime juiced
  • Stevia to taste if desired

Instructions
  1. Place prepared gelatin in a heavy bottomed saucepan on low-med heat and stir gelatin until dissolved.
  2. Pour in lime juice and stir.
  3. Remove from heat and leave for a couple of mins to cool slightly (must still be runny but not scalding hot). Stir in kefir and stevia.
  4. Pour into moulds or glass dish and place in fridge to set.
