I don’t like to let anything go to waste in my kitchen. When we have eaten all of our fermented apples I love to make yummy apple kefir gummies. It’s so easy and a great protein rich, gut soothing snack. Keep in mind that the heat added to the gummy will wipe out most of the probiotics but it’s still a low sugar, gut healing option.

I use Changing Habits Gelatin as it is organic and always turns out well. You can buy a single pack or stock up with a twin pack and save 20%. We go through heaps with our bulletproof drinks, gummies and gravies.

Please double batch my recipe if you’d like to use up more of your kefir. They last for about 10 days in the fridge or you can always freeze and pop in lunchboxes so they are ready by break.

Instructions
  1. Place prepared gelatin in a saucepan on low to medium heat and whisk until melted.
  2. Take off heat and whisk in room temperature apple kefir.
  3. Once well combined pour into cute moulds or a small glass pyrex dish and place in fridge until set.
